About the Speaker

Josh Hundt, Executive Vice President, Chief Business Development Officer, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC)

Josh Hundt is the Chief Business Development Officer & Executive Vice President with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Hundt is committed to the MEDC’s goals of more jobs, more investment and customer service. In this role Mr. Hundt leads the organization’s business retention and attraction activities, entrepreneurship and innovation efforts, automotive and mobility initiatives through the PlanetM program, international trade development, Pure Michigan Business Connect program, business financing and incentives, and defense industry programs. Mr. Hundt has twelve years of experience in economic development and has extensive knowledge of statewide economic development program and policy development, including playing a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the Michigan Business Development Program and the Good Jobs for Michigan Program. Mr. Hundt holds a Masters of Public Administration from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of Hope College. Josh lives in Okemos, Michigan with his wife and four sons.
